What happened to Sailfest?

It would be an understatement to say that this winter was a disappointment. The combination of record high temperatures and record low snow pack was devastating for the Great Salt Lake’s recovery. The Lake now sits at 36% full and is on track to surpass its record low by this fall.

Because there will likely not be enough water for sailboats to get out of the marina, Grow the Flow has rebranded Sailfest to Lakefest. This June we hope to have a record number of Utahns come out to celebrate our Lake and show our leaders why it’s worth protecting.
