Thank you for your interest in joining us in making a difference for Great Salt Lake during the 2027 Legislative Session! Stay tuned for the date and time of next year’s lobby days!
Lobbying makes legislative advocacy for Great Salt Lake more approachable and effective. Our state’s lawmakers are more receptive to well-organized advocacy that builds personal relationships, highlights local impacts, and presents clear and actionable solutions.
What to expect when you lobby with us:
- A brief lobbying training inside the Utah Capitol Building
- An overview of the highest priority bills that day and a handout with speaking points
- Time to break into groups and prepare
- Opportunities to speak to your legislators one-on-one or in small groups
If you want to go above and beyond, follow up with an email after meeting your legislator to start building a long-term relationship!!

Calling all high school and college aged students to make a difference for Great Salt Lake! Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is needed as we will provide you with the training and knowledge needed to talk with your legislators.
