Resources for Irrigation Efficiency

As you start to determine what areas of your irrigation system you can improve, you may want to consider applying for funding from a variety of sources. If you are approved for both of the following programs, it is possible to have up to 90% of your irrigation project financed!

NRCS Funding

  • All applications for this program must be received by September 30th, 2026
  • Contact one of the following people to have your information processed, start an application, and schedule a site visit to work on a conservation plan

Water Optimization Grant

  • The application for the 2025 period closes on February 28, 2025 at 5:00 pm MST. If you miss the deadline, watch for the next years’ period
  • You need a pre-consultation with the Division of Water Rights before applying
